Release highlight: September 2026 includes major user-facing updates across AI, re-enrollment, dashboards, attendance, SIS synchronization, behavior management, and mobile. Major new guide pages include AI Question Generator and Student Re-Enrollment.

AI Question Generator

The AI Question Generator is a new course and question-bank tool that helps teachers draft assessment questions using AI. Teachers can generate questions from a topic, story or passage, course content, or selected standards, then review and edit the generated questions before using them with students.

• Generate questions directly into course question banks.

• Use topic, passage, course-content, or standards-based prompts.

• Select grade level and question type to guide the output.

• Review, edit, and manage generated questions before publishing or using them in quizzes.

• Supports math and formula formatting improvements for generated questions.

Student Re-Enrollment

Student Re-Enrollment adds an end-to-end workflow for schools to collect updated family information, confirm enrollment intent, track completion, and manage re-enrollment records for the upcoming school year.

• Families can complete re-enrollment forms online.

• Administrators can configure the re-enrollment window, eligibility, reminders, confirmation messages, and form mappings.

• Schools can use the included default form as a starting point and customize it before launch.

• Reports help staff monitor completion status, payment status, sibling information, and historical re-enrollment cycles.

Department-Level Assignment Snapshots

Department Heads can now review assignment snapshot metrics for the departments they manage. This gives department leaders better visibility into missing work, past-due assignments, below-threshold performance, and upcoming assignments without requiring manual course enrollment.

• Department Heads can switch between their own classes and managed department views.

• Snapshot cards show department-level assignment status information.

• Cards connect to related Assignment Reports & Alerts for additional review.

Configurable Daily Absence Settings

Schools can now define how daily absences are calculated based on grade-span thresholds and selected attendance codes. These settings are managed from Behavior Plugin Settings.

• Set separate daily absence thresholds for different grade spans.

• Choose which attendance codes count toward daily absence calculations.

• Support more accurate attendance rules for elementary, middle, and high school schedules.

Radix LMS AI Tools and AI Grader

Radix LMS AI Tools and AI Grader received several improvements to support more teacher workflows.

• AI Grader can work with rubric-based grading workflows.

• Cloud-document handling was improved for shared student submissions.

• Custom grading-scale support was expanded.

• Guided AI prompt options were improved for teachers using AI writing and content tools.

SIS Synchronization and Course Access

SIS synchronization and course visibility options were improved to better support school-year transitions, course access timing, and integrations.

• Added configurable early course access before the official course start date.

• Improved options for showing Semester 2 courses earlier in the school year.

• Strengthened school-year validation during synchronization.

• Preserved SIS course and section codes for reporting and third-party integrations.

School Overview Dashboard

The School Overview Dashboard charts were modernized for better responsiveness, readability, and consistency.

• Charts now load more efficiently.

• Visual styling was refreshed for improved readability.

• Dashboard chart behavior is more consistent across screen sizes.

Behavior and Discipline Management

Behavior and Discipline Management received updates for reporting, notifications, mobile entry forms, and navigation.

• Added offense-code support for behavior categories and behavior types.

• Improved notifications for behavior-related workflows.

• Added mobile warning badges and clearer indicators during behavior entry.

• Refined page titles, breadcrumbs, and report navigation.

Authentication and Parent Experience

Login and parent-account workflows were refined to improve the user experience for families and schools using Single Sign-On.

• Alternate login pages now present manual login more cleanly when SSO is available.

• Parent account and email confirmation workflows were improved.

• Student verification and parent access workflows were polished.

• Improved LaTeX and MathJax formula rendering for AI-generated questions.

• Fixed issues where generated math formatting could display incorrectly after import.

• Improved status handling for students marked as not re-enrolling.

• Resolved PHP 8.x compatibility issues in background tasks.

• Added safeguards for SIS contact synchronization and school-year setting changes.

• Improved reliability of notification and summary tasks.

Mobile App Updates 📱

Mobile updates focused on layout, report-card behavior, behavior-entry visibility, and general reliability.

• Improved landscape layouts for Dashboard, My Grades, and Assignments.

• Fixed mobile report-card generation behavior.

• Added behavior-entry warning badges and notification indicators on mobile.
