• Custom AI-Driven Lesson Plan Generation:

  • Implemented a new module that creates complete, ready-to-teach lesson plans. By leveraging minimal input such as subject details, dates, and selected standards or objectives, the system automatically generates comprehensive lesson outlines.

  • The enhanced workflow uses a pre-defined prompt to integrate critical information, allowing further modifications as needed within the lesson outline text editor.

• Enhanced AI Content Generation Options:

  • Added new configurable options to specify the reading level, text length, and language for AI content creation.

  • These additions empower educators to fine-tune the content to better align with curriculum requirements, ensuring the generated material is both appropriate and targeted.

• Grade penalties

  Added configurable late submission grade penalties that admins define once and teachers can apply per assignment. When enabled, late submissions are automatically reduced by a set percentage (with optional extra penalties based on how long the work is overdue), and penalized grades are clearly flagged with an icon and tooltip in reports.

• Enhanced SIS Sync and Enrollment Accuracy: Revised synchronization logic for student schedules prior to the first day of school to prevent erroneous multi-enrollments, ensuring accurate course assignments and a smoother on-boarding process for students.

• New Plugin and Direct SSO Integration: Deployment of a Direct SSO entry point plugin utilizing OAuth services to streamline authentication processes for students and staff, enhancing security and user convenience.

• Custom Login Experience: Introduction of a customizable alternate login page that offers separate authentication sections for students/staff and parents, closely resembling the default interface while incorporating institution-specific branding for a more personalized experience.

• Improved Data Export Capabilities: New CSV export functionality has been added for assignment reports, category summaries, and report card comments, facilitating easier data analysis and record keeping for educators and administrators.

• Additional UI and UX Improvements: Enhancements include the persistence of question bank selections across pagination, sticky filter options for question banks, a copy feature for text submissions to streamline grading, and several layout adjustments for improved mobile responsiveness.

• Course Enrollment Issue Resolution: Fixed the SIS synchronization problem that previously resulted in students being enrolled in extra courses when schedule changes were processed before the school start date, ensuring a more accurate enrollment process.

• Modal Display Corrections: Addressed issues with custom modal visibility on non-standard pages, ensuring that course and question bank modals are consistently displayed across all relevant sections.

• Persistent Selection in Question Bank: Implemented a fix so that question selections in the bank persist across page navigation, preventing loss of selections during quiz creation and enhancing user efficiency.

• Critical Error Handling: Resolved urgent errors, including data length issues in the admission application and warnings on grading pages related to special program indicators. Additionally, fixed a PHP scaling problem affecting progress email content, ensuring accurate communication with stakeholders.
